Neuropsychology services
Sameenah Rawoot (MA Neuropsychology, UCT) is now offering Neuropsychology services at DocMD, and is currently offering pro bono (free) neuropsychological assessments from 15 November 2025 until 15 December 2025.
This will apply to patients who may be experiencing signs of dementia or degenerative conditions including memory difficulties, changes in cognition, and personality, confusion, or any other concerning signs & symptoms.
Services include:
- Assessment and diagnosis of neurological/neuropsychological syndromes and difficulties following brain injury, or neurological illness
- Pre-and-post neurosurgical assessments for baseline and comparative functioning
- Practical strategies and support for coping with difficulties arising from neurological disease or injury
- Providing support and guidance for families caring for persons suffering from neurological or neuropsychological difficulties
- Neuropsychological support and advice for parents regarding cognitive, emotional and behavioral development, specifically with young children
